Technical Sales Manager - Hydro Job Opening in Appleton, Wisconsin - Sell Automation upgrades and replacements in Hydro power plants for governors, exciters, unit controls, electrical protection, and balance of plant. Create opportunities, develop new business in USA and CAN.
Sell automation and digital service contracts to our Hydro customers.
Work closely with the HyService (after market business) Sales team and the DS service team
Use Salesforce as CRM and opportunity database. Leverage lessons learned from key past and present service contracts
Develop the Automation brand and reputation through customer satisfaction
Sell our new digital solution service products at pilot stage
Scale DS products for differentiation and growth as they are proven
Work with marketing for creation of success stories, case studies, and references
Proved technical sales expertise for our products and increase knowledge and awareness in Hydro GD
P* *rofessional Experience & Education
S* *pecific skills & Knowledge (Ex: Language, IT skills)
Minimum 5 years experience in sales, in Hydro automation, this is a pre-requisite
Experience in problem solving
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in the Automation space
Electrical hardware knowledge
Automation software knowledge
Industrial (Hydro) process operation understanding
Experience creating customer value propositions
