Chromatic Distribution was founded in 2010 with the sole purpose of being the conduit for high quality lighting and video production products to the marketplace, and delivering them to its Dealer network in the most efficient and customer centric way possible. Duties/Expectations
Perform daily customer service tasks, including: taking orders; processing cancellations and returns; answering phones; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Achieve customer service objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; completing audits; identifying customer service trends; determining system improvements; implementing change; maintaining and developing business relationships with new and future vendors
Perform all accounting and logistical processes for this business division, such as: processing B2B purchase orders, entering data into accounting software (Quickbooks), invoicing, generating labels, shipping product, invoicing, performing bank deposits, etc.
Continually improve related procedures and best practices, take an active role in identifying ways to increase business
Use professional and courteous communication skills to listen to customer requests in order to accurately define or determine their needs and provide them with the requisite response.(this is the only place you used a period)
Help plan presence in and attend a minimum of two trade shows per year, which includes: arranging and organizing travel; planning and executing trade show logistics; gathering potential leads; following up on said leads; create and send monthly marketing emails to leads
Maintains an up-to-date database of stocking distributors and regularly monitor their activity to ensure they are ordering product as expected, as well as work with Business Manager to increase stocking distributor orders
Attend and occasionally lead internal meetings and proactively follow up on specific action items
Manage and track inventory locally while preemptively ordering stock for future orders
Provide excellent customer service by diligently following up on custom orders for vendors
Investigate and resolve customer/dealer problems professionally and quickly
Utilize Excel to gather and analyze financial data along with Business Manager in order to maximize revenues and profits and determine customer service objectives to meet sales and customer service goals
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Perform all other duties as assigned by Business Manager
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree or relevant experience
3 - 5 years of customer service experience
1-3 years of distribution experience
Microsoft Office proficiency, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
QuickBooks experience
An entrepreneurial spirit and relentless customer focus
Ability to gather and interpret data effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
