CONTROLLER Job Opening in Liberty Lake, Washington - POSITION TITLE: Controller
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for overall Accounting functions for the company.

Output: Financial Information
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of all accounting functions.
Prepares monthly financial statements and presents them to the management team.
Review accounts receivable and payables processing.
Prepares financial reports and analysis as requested by the President.
Reconcile cash account daily and other checking accounts monthly.
Output: Tax and Payroll Distribution
Responsible for paying all taxes timely.
Assists CPA?s in the preparation of all tax returns for the corporation.
Responsible for timely filing of all tax returns; 5500?s, 941?s, 990 and B&O tax.
Reviews payroll processing and resolves issues when needed.
Calculate and distribute annual W-2?s.
Calculates quarterly employee bonus program.
Output: Trained Staff
Supervises and trains accounting staff and completes performance evaluations when due.
Presents training for all employees to understand the financial statements.
Output: Improved Processes and Procedures
Identify improvements and help resolve problems with ERP software.
Responsible for following all documented and posted safety procedures and requirements.
Contributes to efficient company operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with and follow documented Quality/ISO/AS9100 procedures as well as company and departmental policies.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Responsible for overseeing all department functions, including; work product quality, on-time delivery, managing costs, continuous improvement and supervising employees. Supervisory responsibilities include; training, coaching, problem solving, providing performance reviews, making recommendations on hiring and terminations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, minimum of three (3) years experience with financial statements.
Prior supervisory responsibilities.
Working knowledge and experience with payroll and taxes.
Proficient in use of various software programs including; Windows, Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, and ERP / MRP applications. Strong data management experience a plus.
Enthusiastic team player with attention to detail.
Good communication skills required.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
