Sales and Use Tax Analyst Job Opening in Hoffman Estates, Illinois - Position: Sales Use Tax Analyst
Position Overview : As a Sales and Use Tax Analyst, you will serve as a tax subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to management on tax issues. You will gather data to prepare State & Local Tax Filings (sales, use & property) from beginning-to-end.
Description:
Ensure the timely and efficient preparation of the sales, use and property tax.
Prepare and review tax accruals and tax accounts reconciliation.
Review and analyze expenses and property tax upon taxability by law.
File monthly/quarterly tax returns on a timely basis, reconcile tax accounts and coordinate with fulfillment vendors to ensure proper sales tax collection.
Lead research and preparation of sales, use and property tax.
Requirement Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA, MBA, or Masters in Tax preferred.
5+ years of experience in U.S. international tax compliance and planning.
Big 4 experience a plus.
Strong technical research skills.
Self-starter with strong organization, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
