Cash Application Specialist Job Opening in Naperville, Illinois - This is a permanent position with amazing benefits. This will be perfect for someone with 1-3 years of experience in a high volume Cash Application role.
Duties include:
Processes incoming payments: Lockbox, ACH, EFT, Credit Cards, and Wires (Information related to incoming receipts is available by accessing the bank?s on-line lockbox report and lockbox images).
Processes ACH and EFT payments using the bank?s daily cash report.
Processes credit card payments.
Balances daily cash receipts: ACH, Credit Cards, and Wires receipts.
Coordinates with Billing and the Customer Advocates in resolving customer invoice problems.
Coordinates with the Controller and accountant in identifying cash transactions and problems.

Requirements:
No minimum education requirement, however applicable coursework involving accounting basis is preferred, but not required.
1-3 years Accounts Receivable/Cash Application experience.-Must possess excellent detail orientation and accuracy to process payments, and balance daily cash receipts.
Strong organizational skills to process high volume of cash application on a timely basis.
Interpersonal skills to work as part of a team.
Must be computer literate and possess knowledge of computer software, internet, Excel, Word, Outlook and credit card terminal.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
