Account Manager/Sales Representative Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - U Magazine is a state-wide lifestyle publication that focuses on the Complete ?U?: physical, personal, emotional and professional well-being. We feature stories, and explore topics that impact the health and well-being of the entire State of Georgia. We cover stories all the way up in the Georgia Mountains down to the Wild Adventures near the GA/FL line, and everywhere in between.
We have 4 quarterly issues: February, May, August and November. Each issue is themed, and we also host health and wellness events across the state.
February: New Year, New U!

November-Most Beautiful (Inner and Outer Beauty)
We are looking for great outside sales and account managers to sell publication and health and wellness related services to businesses across the Metro Atlanta area.
Duties:
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
Present strong demonstrations of full product offering
Develop and maintain a Territory Plan for businesses in the assigned territory utilizing sales database tool
Conduct sales calls and meetings with decision makers

Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably outside sales
Must have reliable transportation
Must have at least a high school diploma, Bachelor?s preferred
Prior experience working as a publishing representative may be advantageous
Must be able to communicate effectively with decision makers
Must be organized and detailed oriented Must have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must employ effective consultative techniques including pre-call planning and productive questioning strategies that lead to winning business.
