Senior Internal Auditor Job Opening in Jersey City, New jersey - Senior Auditor

Pay rate: $90,000-$110,000/year
The Senior Auditor will complete internal audits with little supervision. Some travelling to regional and international offices may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
Applying risk and control concepts to assess control design and developing a test approach of the key controls
Compiling clear and concise audit work papers Reporting control design deficiencies and controls not operating as designed
Providing training and coaching to junior Internal Audit staff
Auditors may be required to travel around 25% of the working year
Performing process walk-throughs to identify the key activities, risks and controls
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
CIA, IIA or ASQ / CQA or equivalent audit certification
Have a minimum of two years experience as an internal auditor within the general insurance, financial or banking industry
Possess an excellent understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk and control frameworks
