Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Analyst Job Opening in Mahwah, New jersey - My client is a fast growing conglomerate and is currently seeking a candidate for a hybrid Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Analyst role. In this role you will analyze financial information, prepare financial reports, and support finance projects within the corporation. This individual will be responsible for month-end closing, including reconciliations and account analysis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to perform strategic analysis on various segments of the business
Ability to assist in the preparation of month end closings
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
FP&A experience within a distribution or CPG environment
Desired Qualifications:
Multi-year financial planning experience, including developing complex business and financial models (cost accounting experience is a plus, as this is a manufacturing company)
Advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
CPA, and/or MBA a plus.
