Community Development Representative Job Opening in New York, New york - The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration, a non-profit organization serving the greater New York metropolitan area, is a leader in the field of helping to restore sight to thousands of men, women and children through eye donations and cornea transplantation. About to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2020, The Eye-Bank readily incorporates today's best practices and state-of-the-art technologies across all departments - ocular laboratory; fundraising; public and professional education in ways that effectively advance its sight-saving mission of providing the beautiful gift of sight.
The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, is seeking a full-time Community Ambassador. The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities and related community entities in Manhattan and the Bronx to facilitate eye donation and to encourage New Yorkers to sign up in the Donate Life Registry.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 3 - 5 years related work experience in health care or marketing. Requires working knowledge of health care/hospital environment. A valid driver?s license is a plus.
