Order Administrator Job Opening in Plano, Texas - Position Summary: * Responsible for timely and accurate order entry, issuing purchase orders, responding to customer inquiries and invoice processing.*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Enters Orders into RAMS software
Verifies accuracy with order portal or other documentation
Set up new customers in software as needed
Looks for discrepancies and proactively alerts inside sales to potential problems
Processes related purchase orders for B/R orders
Posts items received and processes invoicing ensuring proper sales tax coding
Provides back up phone coverage as necessary
Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in business preferred or equivalent experience with some college coursework.
Minimum of 3 years Invoicing, Order Entry, Administrative or Customer Service experience.
Must be computer literate.
Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
Ability to properly handle confidential information and records.
Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
:
Associates Degree in accounting or business preferred or equivalent experience with some college coursework. Minimum of 3 years Invoicing, Order Entry, Administrative or Customer Service experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages,
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of Order Entry software and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
