Payroll Specialist/ Intercompany GL Accountant Job Opening in Midland, Texas - Payroll Specialist needed that will guarantee precise processing and computing of the organization's payroll through ADP. This role will involve payroll data entry and processing bi-weekly basis and will impact a rapidly growing organization. In addition to payroll, this role will also perform general , including accounts receivable, journal entries and general ledger maintenance for multiple companies as well as assist with bank reconciliations, monthly sales and use tax reporting and worker's comp reporting.
Qualification Requirements :
3-6 years experience processing payroll.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely (including new hire, terminations, salary changes, garnishments, time & attendance).
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
General accounting knowledge BA/BS Accounting or equivalent CCP preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP Standards.
Validate payroll from pre-processing reports prior to submitting payroll.
Allocate labor costs from payroll reports to multiple entities within the company and generate intercompany invoicing.
Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
Strong work ethic and team player.
High degree of professionalism.
Attention to detail.
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Audit Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2 etc.)
DOT knowledge is a plus.
Must renew Rig Permits every 60 days to be in compliance.
