Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Responsibilities:
Perform monthly reconciliations on banks, credit cards, and GL accounts.
Assist in Invoicing customers and coding bills (Data Entry)
Assist in job costing and variance analysis
Implement an organized filing system for customers and vendors
Perform other various tasks as requested by management
Answer inbound telephone calls, greet and assist onsite guests
Qualifications:
2+ years experience required or degreed (AA or higher)
Basic understanding of accounting (debit/credit) is a must
Quickbooks experience is preferred
Advanced Excel skills big plus
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
