Phlebotomist Job Opening in detroit, Michigan - Phlebotomist Ideal candidates must have excellent venipuncture technique, order of draw & tube knowledge. Position Duties May Include: -High volume drawing experience (50 patients) per day -Peds exp a MUST! -High level of self confidence in one's own phlebotomy technique -Excellent customer service consistently demonstrated -All specimens are collected accurately, timely & labeled correctly Assist with clerical duties, i.e data entry, faxing, answering phones Job Requirements -State Phlebotomy Certification (where required) -High School diploma or GED -A minimum of 1 year paid working Phlebotomy experience -Customer service attitude -Thorough tube knowledge -Complete understanding of the order of the draw -Excellent venipuncture technique -The ability to successfully draw the hardest of patients -Ability to draw patient after patient with no re-sticks -Data entry skills (When submitting resume please pay particular attention to documenting your Phlebotomy experience.
