The Collections Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Collections Department. They supervise 30+ staff members that are responsible for the Accounts Receivable functions. Including but not limited Revenue Cycle performance; claims submission; adjustments to insurance claims; follow up for payment from insurances and patient balances; auditing of accounts and assist in daily operations as needed. The Collections Manager reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and assists them in the administration and management of meeting team goals and objectives set forth by the Vice President of Revenue Cycle.
Requirements of this position include experience in a level position in healthcare; Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; excellent communication skills and customer service skills, ability to problem solve, organized and detail oriented; previous experience in health insurance and Credit and Collections fields and must be proficient in Word and Excel.
