Branch Manager - Industrial Supply Job Opening in Odessa, Texas - CAREER OPPORTUNITY
PSS Industrial Group is looking for a motivated and talented individual with strong management experience to fill the position of Branch Manager for one of our top facilities located in Odessa, TX.
This position will direct and coordinate daily operations, be responsible for profitability, ensure operational efficiency and facilitate continuous improvement of processes while creating a positive and exceptional customer experience. Highly competitive compensation and benefits.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the overall operational, budgetary and financial responsibilities and activities of the branch.
Manage, train, coach, develop and motivate Inside Sales, Warehouse and Administrative personnel.
Work closely with Warehouse Manager and Inside Sales Manager.
Manage customer service issues as needed and provide optimal customer service.
Manage the branch?s inventory to keep inventory in optimal quantities. Supervise and manage cycle counts.
Conduct branch and safety meetings as needed.
Manage all incident reporting including property damage and theft incidents.
Manage rental operations.
Oversee administrative branch duties such as petty cash, facility maintenance, invoice and record keeping as needed.
Manage branch productivity by maintaining a safe, productive and healthy atmosphere.
Provide leadership in all areas.
Qualifications
10 to 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry required.
5 to 10 years of management experience required.
Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic budgeting and accounting principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal relationship building, employee mentoring and development skills.
Bachelor?s Degree is highly desirable.
