Staff Engineer Job Opening in Horsham, Pennsylvania - Materials Sciences Corporation (MSC) is seeking recent graduates or engineers with less than 3 years? experience to work in a team environment performing design and analysis of fiber reinforced composite structures. Composite analysis experience is preferred but not required. Projects involve a wide range of topics including new materials, structural design and engineering software development. This is a full-time position located in Horsham, PA.
This position requires a degree in a related engineering field. Fundamental competencies should include a solid understanding of mechanics. A working knowledge of composite materials is desired. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is required, preferably with the ABAQUS FEA software, but experience with other commercial codes (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, etc.) is acceptable. Experience with Mathematica is also preferred. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate work both orally and in writing is also required.
U.S. citizenship is required and background security investigation may be required.
