The Software Engineer (ADF) will perform analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of database-driven application programs. The incumbent will assist the development team in providing comprehensive support for existing and new applications, and will offer expertise regarding methods, standards, and technical considerations for software applications. The Software Engineer (ADF) will be working in an Agile/Scrum environment where the focus is on the teamwork and ownership of each project.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug multi-tier database-driven Java applications and components to support business requirements.
Design, configure, and use ETL process and tools to analyze, manipulate, and integrate data.
Create and maintain technical and knowledgebase documentation.
Diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and develop technical solutions.
Coach less-experienced team members.
Solve problems independently with minimal technical or managerial guidance.

Qualifications: MINIMUM:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
1-3 years of directly related experience with Oracle ADF. Or some equivalent combination of education and experience, including through military service.
5-8 years of related experience including Java programming, hands-on professional software development, hands-on SQL, and experience with building applications using an end-to-end application framework and JEE technology.
Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using UML.
Understanding of SSO and Java EE security.
Experience with Java EE application server.
Production support experience in an application development environment.
Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum procedures and processes.
Experience with MVC frameworks and multi-tier architectures.
Live within a commutable distance of Herndon, VA.
DESIRED:
Experience with Weblogic.
Experience with Spring and Hibernate.
Experience with XML and Web Service application development.
Understanding of business tier domain modeling for data-centric applications.
Knowledge of Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Access Manager.
