Retail Sales Associate Job Opening in North Smithfield, Rhode island - We are currently hiring highly motivated store associates with prior experience in the swimming pool industry. Weekday, and weekend availability is a must. Hours will vary depending upon the season, but typically range from 20-40 hours per week. Customer Service is the essence of this position; strong customer service skills are a must. An ability to trouble shoot, and solve customer chemistry, and equipment related issues is a must. Will train the right candidate.
Requirements:
A valid drivers licence.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Be proficient in basic word and excel documents.
Be presentable, and have strong communication skills.
Have an ability to trouble shoot.
Typical Duties Include:
Test customer pool water with our state of the art digital water lab.
Inform customers of latest products, sales, and specials.
Field store related phone calls, and answer phones as needed.
Stock shelves, inventory store.
Take & Place orders.
Trouble shoot chemistry and pool equipment related issues.
Process cash & credit card transactions
Maintain Display yard area.
Daily duties also entail various appearance maintenance duties: sweeping store floor, washing the floor, etc.
Occasionally make, and pick up deliveries/orders with company vehicle.
