2nd Shift Data Administrator-Manufacturing Facility Job Opening in Canton, Mississippi - Growing quality services company, serving major automotive manufacturers, seeking an experienced Data Administrator, available for the second shift (afternoons), responsible for all project data input, tracking, maintenance and reporting. Maintains communication with customer contacts on containment project status, submits reports to corporate accounting, maintains inventory, orders company supplies and other duties as assigned. Additionally, this person is proficient in the Quality Inspector job requirements and is available to assist with sorting/rework when necessary.
***Must have at least five years of work experience (including two years of data entry/clerical experience) to be considered.
Job Requirements:
Compile, verify, and enter project account data into data tracking system
Send data and project status results to all active suppliers
Track when sorts open and close
Audit project documentation for accuracy to ensure accurate customer billing
Drive customer satisfaction through regular communication, provide timely sort updates, reports, and feedback/follow-up
Refer customer to appropriate supervisor or manager
Maintain compliance with all ISO 9001:2008 quality system requirements
Train project team members on proper completion of service delivery documentation and train new hires when necessary
Maintain and monitor (daily/monthly) key performance indicators and downtime
Ensure project areas are 5s compliant
Maintain and monitor supply, tool, and equipment inventory and submit purchase requests for approval
Maintain administrative and personnel files, reports, documentation and submit personnel information to SMS
Track and maintain employee call-in log and phone message log
Compile and submit accurate management reports in a timely manner
Work with minimum supervision
Travel to project locations when needed
All other duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate weights of 10 ? 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
Hand/eye coordination with arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp with visual acuity.
Corrected 20/20 vision with no color blindness
Read, comprehend, and apply written work instruction
Able to pass a criminal background check
Able to pass initial and subsequent drug screenings
Requirements:
At least five years of work experience (including two years of data entry/clerical experience)
Manufacturing experience a plus, but not required
High school diploma; up to four years of college or technical school preferred
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
