Greens is seeking a self-motivated, Area Sales Manager who will lead the sales efforts for the Hampton Inn Parker, Best Western Parker Inn, & Quality Inn Parker, all located in Parker, AZ. Candidates with experience in leading a team and a proven history of developing current and building new business are preferred. Solid understanding of revenue management will be beneficial. REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum high school diploma. Higher level education preferred.
3 years sales experience in the hospitality industry with a minimum of 1 year at the supervisory level.
Willing to travel and must possess a valid driving license
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES
Conduct and continuously update local market research.
Sell incremental room nights for assigned properties.
Develop and execute each hotel?s marketing plan.
Achieve and exceed the revenue targets for the assigned properties.
Assess the market potential and develop new business opportunities while at the same time increasing revenues from existing customers.
Conduct and enhance public and community relations.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
REVENUE: Prepare and implement the hotel?s annual Sales & Marketing plan; aggressively pursue revenue goals
QUALITY: Work closely with hotel staff with execution of promotions.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Ensure Good Standing in the community, and maintain key relationships with local and community organizations.
LEADERSHIP: Motivate, coach and train front office team members as sales leaders; demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive & professional work environment.
