Rosenberger North America is searching for a candidate to fill the following position: Southwest Regional Sales Manager
Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channels. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for territory growth while managing and working with the sales rep organizations.
Location: Southwest region of the United States within a commutable distance of a major airport
Responsibilities
Responsible for territory growth and diversification within military, test & measurement, medical, commercial and industrial markets
Driving growth with all product lines, fiber optics, RF interconnect, Copper Harness assemblies in the Medical & Industrial Markets, Test & Measurement and Mil/Def markets.
Manage contracted sales rep organizations
Provide training to sales reps and distribution partners on existing and new products
Perform sales rep reviews on a quarterly basis to review territory performance
Develop new customers
Achieve sales objectives established for the territory
Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.
Attend trade shows as required
Travel with rep organizations and distribution partners to customer base to promote Rosenberger products
Territory consists of the South West United States.
Hold QBR?s with the rep organizations.
Weekly reporting to management on territory activity
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers, networking, Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Microsoft Office Suite
Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Competencies
Excellent interpersonal skills ? ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
Self-motivated and results driven
Up to 50% travel
Education & Experience
Five plus years field sales experience, RF interconnect & fiber optic preferred experience
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent preferred
