Sales Support Specialist - Coaching & Consulting Firm Job Opening in Carlsbad, California - Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-based environment and supporting the sales process? Do you have a passion for assessments, coaching or training?
San Diego Leadership Institute is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to assist our CEO and Sales Team with prospect management, maintaining client relationships, and a variety of other related tasks.
Our ideal candidate will:
Be a professional, positive, cooperative, kind, and service-oriented person
Have a minimum of two years of B2B or sales support experience and be proactive and self-sufficient in day to day operations
Have a college degree
Be social media and computer literate: CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Facebook, Linked In, etc.
Have exceptional client service and support skills
Possess top-notch written and verbal communication skills
Have a proactive sense of urgency with strong follow-up/follow through skills
Be a great listener
Have a strong interest in the leadership development field
Have HIGH attention to detail
Always be ready to pitch in: we?re a small business and everyone does some of everything!
Be a critical thinker with creative ideas to identify new opportunities and ways to grow
General Responsibilities
CRM management ? everything from entering contacts/prospects and maintaining their records throughout all stages of the sales cycle
Scheduling support ? schedule appointments and send confirmation emails to all appointments the day prior
Produce annual SWOT analysis
Participate in daily or weekly phone huddle with Sales Team including internal strategy review with the team
Complete miscellaneous requests and local travel
Email support on heavy meeting/travel days for the CEO and Sales Team
Prospect and Responsibilities
Create prospect lists and develop/deploy a proactive outreach plan
Arrange and attend initial prospect meetings
Develop customized prospect deliverables (presentations, RFPs, proposals, etc)
Follow-up with prospect deliverables
Arrange client check-in/feedback meetings
Track client project management timelines (through CRM)
Marketing Responsibilities
Create, update, coordinate the completion of marketing materials
Create/maintain products and services pricing sheet
Develop annual sales marketing plan
Produce and actively participate in prospect/client events (including follow-up and next steps)
Develop and launches social media blasts after events
