Financial Controller Job Opening in Brooklyn, New york - Work with the CFO to establish budget goals and create procedures for tracking expenditures across departments
Become familiar with the needs and efficiencies of each department.
Work with the Tech department to create tools that improve and speed the verification process for closed deals that yield payments to independent contractors and vendors.
Work with the CFO, CEO, Agent Development and CRE departments to expand Reporting to enhance our internal use of data.
Manage the work of bookkeepers.
Aid in recruiting additional financial staff in the future.
Advise Nooklyn on complying with legal financial requirements.
Investigate chargebacks/payment disputes.
Reconcile several accounts in Quickbooks.
Supervise payroll using ADP TotalSource.
Keep track of accounts payable/receivables
Create Quarterly and Annual Reports
Prepare for external audits
Requirements
BA/MA Degree in Accounting
Multiple years experience, especially in Tech and/or NYC Real Estate.
