Daycare Bookkeeper Job Opening in Far Rockaway, New york - Bethel Mission Loving Daycare is looking for an amazing detail oriented bookkeeper who has a love for the little ones who are diversified fun loving individuals who come from all cultural backgrounds with big personalities.
If you are a self-starter, motivated, friendly, and familiar with ACS Daycare Bookkeeping processes - we are looking for you. We are seeking a full time bookkeeper at one of three centers in the Far Rockaway area of New York. If you are prepared to hit the ground running - We want you.
Duties include:
Greet parents and agency officials as well as answer phones in a pleasant manner, collect and post fees, manage staff paid time off and keep record of student attendance relating to center orders and supplies. Review worker's compensation and unemployment claims. Prepare records for payroll, be a major part of the student registration and new hire process. Work well alongside the Centers Director and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Successful applicants will have knowledge of Word and Excel. Should have an AA in accounting or equivalent, and 2 years experience working in accounting or bookkeeping. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Required experience:
AA in : 2 years, or
3-5 years daycare bookkeeping experience
ACS Daycare experience is a plus plus plus
