IT Manager Job Opening in palm springs, California - IT Manager The Family YMCA of the Desert is seeking an IT Manager to join our team. Responsibilities include: Overall planning, direction and execution of computer operations, including the organization?s database and telecommunications. Provides hardware and software support for staff in a network, multi-user environment. Implements routine hardware, software and database maintenance in order to ensure the stability of the organization?s communication systems. This position requires an individual who is proficient in the management of computer software, hardware, database and operating systems in a network setting. Has the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities. Possesses the ability to communicate complex IS information to non IS technical staff in a courteous and professional manner. Must have strong analytical skills & sound problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Systems and Data Security: ? Maintains in-depth knowledge of association?s software through on-going training and workshops. ? Provides day-to-day administration of current network systems and database. ? Provides preventative maintenance for PC?s, printers, scanners, and other related equipment. ? Maintains and monitors telecommunication hardware and services. ? Develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures to ensure system security. Staff Support: ? Conducts PC and/or software staff trainings as needed. ? Develops technical and/or end user help documents. ? Provides technical answers and resources regarding automation questions. ? Coordinates vendor support. ? Installs, upgrades and troubleshoots all network and personal computers and related equipment at multiple Inventory Control: ? Maintains inventory of software applications in order to assure that software licenses are current. ? Maintains inventory of computer hardware purchases, repairs or upgrades. ? Maintains inventory of cell phones and contractual agreements. Fiscal Management: ? Responsible for the budgetary and financial aspects of the Information Systems. ? Provides asset management for the Information Systems. ? Recommends budgeting needs for software products, including any necessary hardware additions or upgrades, training and support General Administration: ?
