Inspector MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE A CMM. Ziess Calypso programming experience. Familiarization with and working knowledge of the use of basic mechanical measurement and test equipment. Ability to correctly read and interpret engineering drawings. Perform dimensional and physical inspection of mechanical parts. Must be able to develop inspection reports for first articles. Initiate reject tags, discrepancy reports and inspection reports in accordance with company approved plans and procedures. CNC Lathe & CNC mill machinist need to be able to do set-ups.
