Cook - Full Time Job Opening in austin, Texas - Cook - Full Time The Heritage at Gaines Ranch, an upscale Retirement Community in South Austin is currently seeking a full time cook. The position will include weekend and holidays. The ideal candidate for this position should be proficient in working omelet and other action stations, preparing meals for 200 people daily, have a background in baking and pastry skills, and have extensive knowledge of preparing for and executing banquets and catered events on a regular basis. Sanitation training preferred. Candidate must have strong communication skills, be able to multi-task, be empathetic and energetic and have an affinity for working with a senior population.
