Company providing behavioral health services to children and adults with special needs is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, Billing Manager to join our team. The qualified Billing Manager must have experience in the healthcare industry (contract and medical billing). This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work place and works well as a team player.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Manages billing personnel
Experience preferred working with state agencies, e.g., DOE, DOH, etc.
Ensures that billing data entry is timely and up-to-date
Ensures accurate and timely billing and payment posting
Reconciles billing issues and uncollectibles
Assists with the development and administration of programs and procedures
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree in business or related field preferred. High school diploma
3+ years experience in healthcare billing industry is preferred
At least 1 year in a role preferred.
Advanced in MS Excel and other computer software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
