Administrative Manager Job Opening in Reno, Nevada - SpineNevada is seeking an Administrative Manager to be responsible for the daily administrative operations of the physician practice. In this role, the desired candidate must be able to coordinate administrative functions, plan and support development of the multi specialty practice. The position will manage all non-clinical personnel, including schedulers, operators and the pre-authorization department. It is important that the individual maintains and encourages efficient and positive communication with team members in order to cultivate a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinates administrative functions, plans and supports the SpineNevada practice.
Serves as a liaison with the Practice Administrator in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating operations.
Monitors practice components relative to regulatory agency criteria.
Manages department/division in a fiscally responsible manner.
Assists in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets ? operational, personnel and capital.
Supports or assists with key revenue cycle functions including, but not limited to, scheduling, insurance verification, co-pay collection and charge capture.
Manages daily operations and all non-clinical personnel in the multi specialty center.
Hires, trains, disciplines and supervises staff. Evaluates performance and ensures efficiency in their roles. Completes regular performance appraisals.
Oversees scheduling (vacation, holidays) and ensures adequate coverage at all times. Performs related personnel functions.
Ensures staff members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Supports continued growth of staff and offers opportunities for advancement.
Assists in developing and maintaining objectives, policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the non-clinical department.
Strives to streamline non-clinical operations and effectively apply new concepts and techniques for positive outcomes.
Assigns work and sees that it is carried out correctly and efficiently.
Demonstrates ability to answer any questions that might arise when dealing with patients, physicians, or any matters regarding the practice.
Coordinates and oversees the resources of multiple administrative functions.
Optimize billing practices and collection of revenues.
Keeps abreast of all billing, coding and reimbursement related issues as they apply to the practice and provides staff education accordingly.
Establishes and maintains a working relationship with the physicians regarding compliance and performance as it relates to billing, coding and regulatory agency standards.
