Paralegal/Legal Assistant Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Small, growing, and busy firm in the summerlin area seeks a paralegal for assistance with preparing filings for state and federal court, as well as preparation of transactional documents including contracts, policies and procedures, and other filing in state and federal court, including knowledge of the procedures of those courts, is necessary. A background in transactional law is helpful as well. The successful applicant will have attention to detail (e.g., no subject-verb agreement issues), be capable of independent research both through Internet searches and traditional legal research services such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Particular preference is given to candidates familiar with regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, insurance, and utilities), and who have experience with the Code of Federal Regulations and the Nevada Administrative Code.
Compensation shall be $17-20 per hour depending on experience. Flexible schedule and benefits available. Position to begin on or around September 1, 2017.
