Zillow is creating innovative, map based user experiences to navigate a wealth of information, including data unique to Zillow, such as Zestimates (home value estimates) and Make Me Move properties. We are currently looking for a Development Lead to join our growing engineering team, to manage a group of talented developers. This team is responsible for the real estate search and shopping experience that millions of consumers use each month to search for information on for sale, for rent as well as over 90 million, not currently on the market homes. As we continue to grow and expand our service, we have large and challenging engineering problems to solve. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience leading a development team and a track record of launching successful customer facing internet services and websites. Zillow uses a fast-paced development methodology utilizing open source and internally developed tools. We seek expertise in: * High-volume, server-side services built using Java, C , C#, or other OO languages; * Relational database design and development using SQL * Browser based implementations using sophisticated JavaScript to create interactive user experiences * Networking and web communications protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP In addition to managing the team, you will be expected to spend a significant amount of time participating in the design and implementation of the team�s products and services.
