Senior Internal Controls Analyst - ZILLOW Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Senior Internal Controls Analyst - ZILLOW Reporting to the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting, the Senior Internal Controls Analyst is responsible for the implementation and oversight of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. Major Responsibilities: * Lead in the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives related to SOX compliance. * Ensure SOX 404 process documentation is current, complete and accurate. Interview company personnel, prepare and take ownership of process documentation, and identify and test internal controls. * Evaluate exception test results and establish remediation plans with process owners. * Stay informed of business process changes impacting SOX controls. * Participate in the design decisions and other support-related matters for the systems that support the creation, maintenance, testing, and certification of SOX controls. * Coordinate with external auditors regarding SOX compliance, testing and issue resolution. Qualifications: * Detailed, comprehensive and current understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations. Understands compliance and remediation requirements and has a complete understanding of SOX implications, controls, etc. * Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills. * Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities. * Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. * Bachelor�s degree in accounting or finance is required. * Minimum of 4 years of direct relevant experience with internal controls evaluation and SOX 404 requirements including experience in planning, evaluation, documentation, control testing and remediation.
