Responsibilities:
Author, test, and deliver new feature code and fix issues for our web applications and services
Collaborate other team members on technical code reviews, designs, and integration
Collaborate with product management on requirements and UI/UX design
Requirements:
You have a passion for software development and for coming up with simple and elegant solutions to difficult problems. You don?t cut corners and develop ugly and fragile hacks, but you also don?t over-engineer to prepare for every possible hypothetical future scenario. You focus on following best development practices, automated testing, and delivering quality code at all times.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience developing Java applications
Understanding of NodeJS, AngularJS, and MongoDB
Experience using Meteor
Experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills
Must be proactive, have great attention to detail, be organized and a team player
Mapping and layers
Familiarity with PayPal or other eCommerce platforms as well as security related to eCommerce websites
Additional desired skills :
Knowledge of GIS software development and technologies including GeoServer, ArcServer, and/or Google Maps.
Experience working with Shapefiles, KML, GeoRSS, GeoJSON and other geo-spatial vector and raster data types.
Understanding of MSSQL and GeoDatabases
Experience in database development including stored procedures, DB design, security, and tuning.
Familiarity or experience with AWS
Love of the outdoors and/or hunting experience
