We're looking for a highly capable, motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join us in building premier web-based software focused on our client?s line of business. You would be an important part of a growing team in automating the integration and regression testing suite using the newest technology.
Position Summary
You will be responsible for using C# with the Selenium Automation tool in conjunction with the Atata Framework to build web automation tests against our client?s web-based systems. You will work across multiple teams of developers, business units, and manual testers to achieve testing efficiency and increasing overall software quality.
We are seeking someone that enjoys working in an agile (scrum), cross functional team and can take responsibility for the team deliverables and quality. This is a full-time position located on-site in Olympia, WA.
Responsibilities
Contribute to robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions
Collaborate with business and technical teams to solve complex problems
Communicate design and test impact based on business requirements
Automate and document tests from existing test cases
Integrate automated tests with current continuous integration systems and the TFS Build and Release process
Champion the integration of best available framework/tool solutions in the QA process
Work to improve test automation concepts and best practices, automation testing strategies, and test case design specifications
Provide training and documentation to development teams and manual testers to increase testing capacity.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience developing and testing software
Proficient in C# or other Object-Oriented language
Hands-on experience with testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Atata).
Experience developing test cases per client? s requirements
Passionate about all things automation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-starter that enjoys and takes pride in their work
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a scrum team
