We're looking for a talented and visionary software engineer to lead our technology strategy and help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. You'll have tremendous scope and real responsibility from the start, and the opportunity to lead other developers. This position requires a unique combination of start-up resourcefulness and productivity, mindset, and technical expertise.
We ship every day, and you will work on features that dramatically impact the business. Tech-wise, we're looking for a dev who's ready to take on a wide range of problems including backend service development, database, and data analysis. You'll be joining an experienced team in a well-funded seed-stage startup. This is a high risk/reward opportunity, where you will have an immediate impact.
Who you are:
* 5+ years software development experience
* Familiarity with at least one MVC web stack (Rails, Django, etc.)
* Experience with at least one C-based language (C, C++, Objective C, etc.)
* Track record of getting software projects done - either professional, non-professional, or academic software projects
* Experience leading other developers
