Director of Clinical Operations Job Opening in Nashua, New hampshire - Director of Clinical Operations (DCO)
The Director of Clinical Operations will participate in operational decision-making processes
necessary for the successful attainment of the IMG goals of assigned sites. The DCO directs the
clinical and non-clinical operations of designated ambulatory care sites on behalf of IMG. The
DCO develops and participates in activity based management including activities designed to
facilitate exceptional patient care, streamline operations and other services necessary to meet the
operational and financial goals of Covenant Health System. This position supervises Site
Manager and Practice Manager positions across multiple lines of business and is responsible for
the financial and operational success of the business. The DCO performs duties in a dyad
management model under a matrix reporting structure reporting to IMG leadership and hospital
leadership.
Qualifications
A Master?s Degree in Business or Health preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a business or nursing with a minimum of five years of directly related managerial experience in Ambulatory Care.
Years of experience can substitute for education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates a high level of knowledge relating to the field of healthcare, as well as physician practice and hospital operations.
Prior experience required in site management and/or clinical operations. Demonstrated ability to work in an environment that has state or federal regulations required.
Strong experience, proven operations, and financial success in managing a single or multisite ambulatory care operation.
Demonstrated attention to quality clinical, professional and other services, and ability to
improve performance in these areas.
Proven ability in team building and managing a culturally-diverse employee base.
Excellent skills in managing the day to day operations of a multisite program to all
audiences including line staff, medical staff, site managers, and patients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication. skills; excellent problem solving and leadership
abilities.
