Entry Level Accounting Manager Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - Accounting Operations Manager
Perform assigned accounting and administrative functions in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Provide assistance to the Corporate Accountant and General Manager in fulfilling business office and accounting duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist the General Manager in an operational role and the Corporate Accountant in an accounting function
· Insure fiscal responsibility and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance
· Month end closing, by assisting Corporate Accountant with financial reports and backup
· Maintain key financial schedules, including pacing planning and forecasting reports
· Code AP and review invoices and contracts to see if there can be cost savings
· Collection of payroll information
· Prepare and calculate monthly Account Executive commission statements
· Act as a local HR contact and maintain EEO files
· Receivable cycle (billing, post cash, book adjustments, deposit recap)
· Supervise Accounting Assistant
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Accounting Degree or relevant experience
· Ability to multi-task, manage and follow through on multiple projects, prioritize duties, and handle a high-volume workload
· Attention to accuracy and detail
· Excellent communication, training, and customer service skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Including Excel and Outlook)
