The Sales Account Executive is someone who?s responsibilities include overseeing, managing existing customer accounts, and attending trade shows to generate new business and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. He/she will be primarily responsible for driving sales through our network of independent sales reps, as well as cultivating and developing new customers primarily on the wholesale level.
The Sales Account Executive will be expected to meet quarterly and annual targets by servicing, negotiating and growing revenue through their network of independent sales reps and assigned territories. This includes prospecting and relationship building with key influencers and decision makers to drive sales.
TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop existing and new to the company customer relationships with our network of independent sales reps via attending trade shows that contribute to profitable sales growth.
Set up displays in the various regional trade shows, contact and interact with independent sales reps to promote and sell our line of sock wear.
Follow up on order payment processing and help troubleshoot any order payment issues
Ensure purchase orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide ongoing account management and customer service to existing sales reps and customers via telephone and email communication.
Attend and actively participate in trade shows as needed 12 + times a year to procure new business leads and additional business
Develop new business utilizing a variety of approaches including cold calls and cold emailing campaigns to our network of independent sales reps and retail customers.
Prepare and present customized sales presentations to educate and make our independent network of sales reps more effective in driving sales growth.
Ability to entertain clients/prospects during business hours including weeknights and weekends
Resolve any issues and problems faced by our network of independent sales reps and retail customer and promptly deal with complaints
Ensure Customer purchase orders ? AR?s are paid in a timely manner.
Regularly analyze and review sales targets and progress with sales management
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends
Planning, Thinking Reflecting time to prioritize and better focus on what matters while achieving company sales goals.
Participate in Ongoing Process-Performance Improvement initiatives
Any other tasks as directed and specified by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
Experience/Skills
Minimum of 3 years of previous sales, business development, account management experience preferably in a wholesale consumer products industry.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel, Powerpoint and Word applications
Experience with Quickbooks a plus
