High School Rep (Strong Sales Presentation Skills) Job Opening in San Francisco, California - The Art Institute of California, San Francisco is seeking a dynamic presenter to fill our High School Representative role. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for education, be an expert at building strong relationships, and must be comfortable giving captivating sales oriented presentations in front of large groups.
Job Summary:
The High School Representative (HSR) markets to high schools in a given territory to generate interest among students, teachers, guidance counselors and principals. HSRs must also conduct research, study The Art Institute programs, and develop interesting and educational presentations. In addition, the HSR is responsible for monthly and annual high school visits, presentations, workable inquiries, and enrollment plans to assist in the matriculation of students. The HSR has the responsibility to conduct such activities in accordance with state, federal, accreditation, and The Art Institute policies and regulations, and consistent with the highest ethical standards. Incumbent must assure that The Art Institute philosophy: quality services to clients; development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion - is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Key Job Elements:
Manages high school territory by developing and building rapport with a variety of and creating a comprehensive marketing plan to promote The Art Institute and its educational offerings in order to create brand awareness. Meets annual visit and presentation plans through scheduling and conducting dynamic multimedia presentations in appropriate classes showcasing features and benefits to collect quality workable inquiries and meet sub inquiry plans for The Art Institutes.
Identifies appropriate students to schedule an appointment with ADAs. Proactively follows up with hot inquiries to ensure appropriate service. Meet annual interview, application and conversion plans. Assists Admissions and other departments with matriculation of students.
Demonstrates solid administrative skills, timeliness of returning calls, emails and completion of departmental reports. Maintains a future calendar as recorded in sales database daily. Utilizes technology, public speaking skills, current industry and school information and all presentation materials to deliver a variety of effective multimedia presentations.
Analyzes and evaluates situations and applies sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Reports To: Sr. Director of Admissions
Interacts With: Potential Students, High School Administration, Various Staff Members
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree required
Strong presentation skills
Sales results oriented
Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people from a variety of social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
Self-motivated; ability to work independently, problem solve and demonstrate sound judgment
Abilities:
Have the ability to lift and transport at least 35lbs of presentation materials
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid Driver?s license and a good driving record
Must have good credit and qualify for or possess a credit card
Has a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals
Highly ethical
Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
