Software Sales Manager - Pharma Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - Our client is an industry leader in validation software, offering a powerful platform for Electronic Validation Life Cycle Management for Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device Manufacturers.
They are now seeking a Sales Manager to continue to build market share for the firm in the west coast region.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a demonstrated track record selling technology into the pharma and biotech sectors, ideally with a focus on Quality and Validation applications.
In this role, you will serve as the lead west coast business development representative for the organization, with responsibilities for identifying new clients and managing the sales cycle.
Responsibilities include:
Work independently to identify new business opportunities for the organization from industry knowledge, personal research, interactions with marketing and business intelligence tools.
Actively prospect for potential new business opportunities within a specified account(s)/territory by developing new clients and networking at industry related events in region.
Develop territory sales plan to grow client brand and achieve yearly goals.
Establish or maintain regular face to face meetings with both new and existing contacts.
Effectively deliver value proposition and key differentiators of clients platform to customers.
Manage sales cycle for Request for Proposals (RFPs), identifying key decision makers and buying motivations for client.
Review, understand and present proposals to clients in order to close deal.
Update information involving activities, opportunities, accounts and contacts within CRM database.
Prepare quarterly update reports for business development activities and pipeline growth.
Represent client organization at various trade shows and conferences.
