Staff Accountant Job Opening in Wethersfield, Connecticut - Vaco is currently seeking qualified candidates for an excellent Staff Accountant opportunity in the greater Hartford area. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain and control the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of this company. 20-25/hr Contract to hire.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Participate in the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end Accounting operations
Prepare and post journal entries
Prepare detailed expense and financial reports
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
Invoices- matching, batching, and coding
Prepare documentation for auditors
Requirements:
BA/BS in Accounting or related field preferred; Associates accepted
4+ years experience
Knowledge of GAAP Principles
