We are searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is passionate about the infrastructure that will allow Extron to build world-class AV solutions. You'll work with and support the engineering teams to build and maintain the development and deployment infrastructure. You'll be part of building highly automated and scalable systems that service our customers needs.
Responsibilities include:
Develop tools to assist in automation of application deployments and monitoring of production environments
Building cloud infrastructure and migrating systems to the cloud
Analytical diagnosis of system events and alarms with emphasis on elimination of reoccurrence
Proactively monitoring and managing a 24/7 system
Required Experience:
3+ years full-time professional industry experience with systems operations on Linux-based environments (CentOS)
Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification a plus
Experience configuring Nginx, load balancers and CDNs
Strong experience with automation scripting, Python and/or shell scripting (Java, C# a plus)
Experience working with and managing Docker
Network configuration experience
Database (MySQL, SQL) administration skills
A passion for producing, monitoring, and provisioning systems that perform well at scale
Understanding of application security in a cloud environment
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Strong communicative and organizational skills
