External Auditor - Staff Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Fast growing local CPA firm seeks experienced staff. Candidates must have at least 1 year of audit experience (1-2 years preferred) and be comfortable with working in a virtual environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform audit procedures as directed by audit managers/audit seniors.
Interact with clients in a professional environment in face to face situations, through email and phone calls.
Some travel required ? 20-35% of the time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Extremely strong computer skills required
Strong communication skills needed
Attention to detail absolutely essential
Ability to work independently
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills needed
Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement a plus
Progress towards CPA preferred
