Billing and Reimbursement Manager Job Opening in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania - Position for a strong billing manager familiar with durable medical equipment rentals and purchases as well as billing supplies and related items. Oversees staff with collections, confirmation of sales orders, daily analyzing of billing activities. Will work closely with CEO and Director of Operations. Knowledge of Brightree software and or Medforce software preferred.
Job duties include:
Assures that all time frames are met with regard to collection of receivables and processing of claims as determined by the policies and procedures.
Monitors the investigation and resolutions of claims inquiries and reconsideration requests from providers.
Responsible to maintain current knowledge and to understand and answer questions pertaining to the coverage and regulations of commercial payers and risk plans.
Insures the correct coding and pricing is current and updated in our software system
Oversee the billing, collection and reimbursement activities and insure the accurate and timely submission of claims.
Oversee maintenance of order, CMN, billing and payment records.
Monitor rent/purchase agreement letters.
Insures customers and providers receive timely responses to all inquiries.
Responsible to monitor goals set for A/R collections, CMNs and claim adjudication process.
Analyzes monthly A/R reports to identify and make recommendations for collection activities.
Communicates problems with President and CEO regarding accounts which may lead to inaccurate or untimely completion of reimbursement processing and communicates account status for collection evaluation.
Supervises all direct supporting staff.
Develop and maintain a positive work climate and support the overall team effort of AdvaCare Home Services.
Acts as a liaison to Customer Service Department, Network referrals, Service Technicians, and Respiratory staff for billing knowledge and support.
