We are looking for an Instructor to teach curriculum to Workers, all throughout Central, Pennsylvania!

Position Description:
Job Title: Instructor
Reports to: Regional Coordinator
Employment Status: Part Time/Casual (Time for each session will include 3.5 hours to deliver the session and 1 hour preparation time ? 4.5 hours total)
Compensation: $32 an hour
Travel required within agreed-upon vicinity
Statement of Purpose:
The Training and Education Fund (TEF), a non-profit organization focused on providing training opportunities for low-wage service workers, is seeking to hire part-time/casual instructors. The instructors will implement orientation sessions for home care workers in pre-defined areas of Pennsylvania.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend train the trainer sessions to become familiar with the orientation session materials
Conduct and deliver 3.5-hour orientation sessions for home care workers of diverse backgrounds and experience levels
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods using adult learning theory to accommodate diverse learning styles of the participants
Manage orientation session materials and room set up
Provide reporting and tracking of attendance after each orientation session to regional coordinator
Manage program for quality and cost effectiveness
Maintain communication with regional coordinator
Travel to different cities regionally to provide orientation sessions as scheduled
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum two years training or teaching experience, preferably in healthcare and/or adult education settings
Familiarity with disability issues, independent living, workforce development, healthcare a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and teamwork skills
Knowledge of adult education principles and best practice
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Proficient in modern technology in operating equipment such as smartphones, computers, projectors and PowerPoint presentations
Bilingual Spanish speakers highly desired and will be given special consideration
Valid PA driver?s license and reliable, insured vehicle
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings and weekends
Ability to travel to various training locations
