Senior Software Developer Job Opening in Cocoa, Florida - Accessible Solutions (ASI) develops software solutions for the aging services industry. This includes meals on wheels organizations, homecare providers, senior centers, adult day providers and more. Our customers are primarily in the United States, but we do have some customers in Canada as well. We are most known in the Meals on Wheels industry as having a best in class product.
ASI is in a prime position for growth and we are developing our next generation products to ensure our market position continues to increase. We are looking for a senior developer that will help support existing technologies and play a significant part of designing and building our next generation solution. We don't expect you to know everything coming in, but we do expect very strong skill sets in certain technologies. We?ll outline those below.
Our preference is to have someone working locally from our Cocoa, Florida office. Just 10 minutes from the beach!
What you'll do
Architect and create new products, ranging from discussing wire-frames to creating the data model and deploying the end result.
Build features in our current stack (C#, MVC, Web API, WCF, and SQL Server).
Measure, optimize, and scale our current infrastructure.
Ship regularly.
Skills & Requirements
What we're looking for...
First and foremost, you are at home on a Microsoft stack.
You need to have a very strong foundation in C# with a focus on web development in using MVC and Web API.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular technologies. 4+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale web-based applications using front-end technologies. Should be good in JavaScript frameworks and hands-on experience in jQuery. Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
At least 2 years of experience with at least one web framework such as AngularJS, React etc.
Experience in designing, developing and migrating Azure cloud based applications.
Strong Development experience on multi-user Azure based applications. Experience in developing in Agile environment.
Thorough understanding of Azure cloud service offering (covering Azure Compute, Storage and Network and PaaS services including App Services, Web Role/Worker Role, SQL Azure Database among others).
Strong knowledge of Cloud security standards and principles including Identity and Access management in Azure.
Ability to analyze applications for Azure suitability and propose right target state on Azure considering cost, performance, and security
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Azure cloud reference architecture and associated design patterns
Experience in SQL Server database development, query tuning, and maintenance.
You are comfortable with distributed version control systems such as Git.
You have experience with PowerShell or are excited to learn PowerShell
You?re motivated, self-directed, and a good communicator.

What to expect when you apply...
We may submit entry level tests to validate basic math and coding skill sets.
A more advanced test will be required prior to an interview.
We do not expect a 100% grade on the test. This is a base line that will be used for additional discussions. * Phone interviews with lead engineer and the president of the company.
