Software Engineer (Vue/Foundation) Job Opening in Manassas, Virginia - We are looking for a qualified Front-End Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a wide range of front end technical experience who can translate interaction flows and user interface designs into appealing interactive applications for our customers.
This role should be a tech-savvy professional who is able to combine new digital technologies and visual design to create functional and attractive digital environments for our customers while ensuring a great user experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Use current web technologies to develop cutting edge solutions
Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
Get feedback from, and build solutions from stakeholders and external customers
Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Serve as a subject matter expert
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Qualification & Experience
Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
Hands on experience with current markup technologies and presentational layout technologies and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Sass)
Experience with CSS layout frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap)
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vuejs, React, jQuery)
Understanding of front-end packaging and tooling (Webpack, Bower, FlowType)
Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Mocha)
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Understanding of layout aesthetics
Familiarity with git and merge request workflows
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
