Senior Test Engineer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Old Mission Capital, a proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago and New York, has immediate openings for Senior Test Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Develop test plans for our proprietary automated trading and risk management systems
Implement automated test frameworks for integration testing (80% of your time)
Conduct manual user acceptance testing (20% of your time)
Work with Old Mission traders and operations team to build beta test plans
Work closely with developers to improve software quality and build a testing culture
Develop methodologies for measuring the impact of test procedures on software quality and time to market
Our Environment:
We run CentOS on our servers
We use Python to build our automated integration test framework
We use git for source control
We manage our software development process with Github Enterprise and Buildbot
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or another technical field
Minimum of three years experience in software testing or development
Experience with Python, Linux and BASH scripting
Experience developing software test plans and automated test systems preferred
