Job Description:
As our Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for constructing and implementing the testing framework that is essential to ensuring the Jolt software runs seamlessly and our customers needs are met. You will complete both documented and ad-hoc testing to ensure we release high quality products. You will work on our Quality Assurance team to determine how we can make the software more testable while ensuring product requirements are completed. You will test feature updates prior to their release, ensuring that the Jolt software is bug free. Your diligence, attention to detail, and positive attitude will enable you to be successful in this role.
Requirements:
-Technologically literate; 3 - 4 years working in a software development / programming / testing environment.
-Experience in writing test plans using automated and manual tools.
-Project planning experience including an ability to execute on committed schedules.
-Ability to interface diplomatically with development and Customer Service staff.
-Ability to see web applications and human / software interactions from a customer's perspective.
-Experience with Git, Github or Bitbucket repository hosting platforms.
-Programming experience a plus (familiarity with the LAMP stack, MySQL, RDBMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
