Software Quality Assurance Team Lead Job Opening in Lehi, Utah - Currently looking for an experienced QA to fill a supervisory team lead role in the Utah area. Interested candidates should have recent experience as a leader in a Q/A organization or software engineering team, preferably with knowledge of in current development environments. (HTML5, JavaScript, Jira, etc.) and Q/A tools and processes.
Responsibilities of the Software Q/A Team Lead and Supervisor
Define the strategy for quality within the Engineering organization and leading the team to achieve that vision.
Ensure the business is successful in delivering high-quality, performant software to our enterprise clients consistently and efficiently.
Work hand-in-hand with Engineering Teams and Product Management to drive the right behaviors on quality into our processes from the beginning.
Ensure quality Engineering craftsmanship and best practices throughout the organization
Grow and mentor other QA engineers
Requirements of the Software Q/A Team Lead and Supervisor
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering (or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
Recent experience as a leader in a Q/A organization or software engineering team, preferably with knowledge of in current development environments. (HTML5, JavaScript, Jira, etc.) and Q/A tools and processes.
Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices, craftsmanship, metrics, quality and testing procedures, process creation and enablement.
Significant experience defining, implementing and optimizing quality practices and processes to ensure teams release quality software and our customers agree that is the case.
Established track record of success in leading or assisting in leadership, in a growing organization
Experience in building software test strategies, practices and Q/A teams for micro-service architectures, real-time or massively distributed systems, big data, analytics or AI, or public cloud systems like AWS a plus.
